II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s) The London Borough of Barnet (LBB) is seeking a supplier to provide an integrated Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefits computer system. It is vital that the supplier is able to submit a tender for the following: Software system. Maintenance and support. Training for staff. Hosting services (option to be considered by LBB and may/may not form part of the final contract package). Furthermore, the authority currently outsources its Documents on Line facility whereby all correspondence received by the council is directed to a third party organisation who scans and indexes those documents and interfaces them into the existing revenues and benefits system. The supplier will include provision for replicating this service. This is an additional option to be considered by LBB (and may/may not form part of the final contract package). The contract will be for five years with a two year option to extend.
