4. Description: The London Borough of Barnet is seeking to appoint a supplier for the distribution service of the Council's "Barnet First" newsletter. Barnet First is Barnet Council's free magazine to residents. It is currently a 16 page newsletter distributed to every household in the borough six times each year. The exact specifications are under negotiation and we are looking at the possibility producing a 24 page magazine four times a year. It is written and designed in-house by the communications department, and is printed by an external company on 80gram ultralux silk. The successful supplier will enter into a 12 month contract with the London Borough of Barnet. Barnet is London's second largest borough with a population of 330,000 and 140,000 households, spreading from Cricklewood in the south to High Barnet in the north.
